Hamblin tried to go to his receiver on an out pattern in the end zone but Alta DB Brandon Weiss gets the interception forcing a touchback. The Hawks take a 14-0 lead into the locker room. If Syracuse doesn\'t come back to win this game their two red zone posessions in the 1st half will haunt them forever. This game could be even at 14 right now but a missed field goal and interception in the red zone have the Titans in a hole against the defending champions.

We are about to get underway with our 2nd 5A semifinal matchup of the day. Defending champion Alta taking on Cinderella Syracuse. The Hawks are a big favorite in this game but the Titans have been surprising teams all season long. Nobody expected them to go 10-2 and no one expects them to win this game but that is just how they like it. If you watched the story we did on Syracuse you know that they have won 6 games decided by 7 points or less. They only give up 9 points a game. If they can keep Alta from making the \"big play\" and force turnovers then the Titans can win this game. As for Alta, they got a scare in the last week of the regular season coming from behind to beat Jordan. Then last week they turned the ball over 6 times on their home turf but still found a way to get a one point win over Davis. If they play a clean game and don\'t turn it over they will be tough to beat. 5 minutes until kickoff and we can\'t wait.
