Ogden man accused of assault and kidnapping

(KSL News) An Ogden man is in jail accused of assaulting and kidnapping another man at a bar.

Police say Cody Gross and a friend allegedly got into an altercation with another man at Teazers Sports Bar and Grill. At some point, the two took the victim to another location and severely beat him for an hour. Gross then allegedly drove the victim to the 24th Street viaduct, where he dropped him to the ground below.

Gross is booked on aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault.
