KEARNS — One person is in critical condition after a car crash in Kearns late Saturday.

The wreck occurred about 11:05 p.m. at the intersection of 4620 West and 5215 South, according to Unified police detective Ken Hansen. A southbound vehicle ran a stop sign and hit an eastbound vehicle, Hansen said.

One person was ejected from the eastbound vehicle and transported from the scene in critical condition. Two others had to be extricated from that vehicle.

No injuries were reported from the southbound vehicle, Hansen said.

An accident reconstruction team is investigating the wreck, he said.
