SALT LAKE CITY — One mobile home was destroyed and two others damaged in a fire early Monday.

The incident was reported about 5:30 a.m. at 1366 S. Major St. All three homes were very close to each other, according to the Salt Lake City Fire Department. It was not immediately known how the fire started or which mobile home caught fire first.

The home in the middle is a complete loss, according to the fire department. One of the three trailers was vacant. The occupants of the other two were able to get out safely.

Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
