KAYSVILLE — One person was killed after a car slammed into the back of a bus pulled over at a bus stop Tuesday afternoon, according to the Utah Transit Authority.

Around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, a bus was at a bus stop on 100 S. Main Street in Kaysville, according to UTA spokesman Carl Arky. A vehicle crashed into the back of the bus and a person in the car died, Arky said. Two people were transported to a nearby hospital, according to the Kaysville Fire Department.
