OGDEN — Two people were injured Sunday when their vehicle hopped a curb and ran through a restaurant in Ogden.

The incident occurred just before noon at 3303 Washington Blvd., according to Ogden Police Lt. Cameron Stiver.

"Witnesses observed a silver Honda CRV traveling north on Washington Boulevard, and then dart across all lanes of travel and strike the Patricia's restaurant at that address," Stiver said.

He said the CRV struck the curb and hopped over it, crashing into the south side of the building and traveling most of the way through it.

Both passengers inside the vehicle were taken by ambulance to McKay-Dee Hospital; one is in critical condition and the other is in fair condition, Stiver said.

Building inspectors are checking the restaurant at this time, he said.
