LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Nick Richards had 21 points and 10 rebounds, Immanuel Quickley scored 16 and No. 2 Kentucky scored the game's first 14 points to cruise past Eastern Kentucky 91-49. Seeking to follow up their victory over top-ranked Michigan State, the Wildcats made six of their first 10 shots, including a couple of baskets by Richards. The Colonels missed their first nine attempts before Darius Hicks' three-point play with 12:57 remaining in the first half. The Wildcats led by 44 in the second half.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Alabama and LSU are ready for another 1 versus 2 November get-together. It only took eight years, seismic offensive shifts and two star quarterbacks, but they're back for another massive meeting between the nation's two top-ranked teams in the AP poll.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) — No. 10 Florida hopes to bounce back from a loss to rival Georgia against Vanderbilt. The Commodores are 27-point underdogs. They're averaging 17 points a game and rank last in the league in offense and defense as well as just about every other meaningful statistic. Vandy also will start its third quarterback of the season on Saturday in the Swamp.

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Javonte Smart and Emmitt Williams each scored 21 points, and No. 22 LSU opened its season by beating Bowling Green 88-79. Smart, replacing two-year starter Tremont Waters at point guard, reached 20 points for just the second time in his career. Skylar Mays, the only returning starter in the Tigers' lineup, had 18 points and eight rebounds. Darius Days had 13 points, and freshman Trendon Watford scored 10 points.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Isaac Okoro scored 17 points, Danjel Purifoy had 14 and No. 24 Auburn eased past cold-shooting Davidson 76-66 in the opener of the Veterans Classic. Returning two starters from a team that reached the Final Four last season, Auburn never trailed against the Wildcats. After letting a 13-point lead dwindle to 37-35 at halftime, the Tigers took control with a 12-1 run at the outset of the second half.

OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — Mississippi looks to snap a three-game losing streak when it hosts winless New Mexico State. The Rebels return to nonconference competition Saturday after losing three consecutive games in Southeastern Conference play. New Mexico State is in the midst of a dreadful season in which six of its eight losses have been by double digits.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Ty Storey had a dramatic impact on Arkansas' season last year. The quarterback's impact could be significant again, even though he has transferred. Storey and Western Kentucky visit the Razorbacks on Saturday for both teams' final nonconference game of the season.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky says forward EJ Montgomery will miss the No. 2 Wildcats' game against Eastern Kentucky with a right ankle injury. The school announced Montgomery's injury before the non-conference contest and said the 6-foot-10 sophomore was hurt in the Wildcats' 69-62, season-opening victory over top-ranked Michigan State in New York. Montgomery is being evaluated daily for the injury. He had four points, two blocks and two rebounds while playing 14 minutes in the win.
