SALT LAKE CITY — When members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the South Pacific Islands heard their prophet was coming to visit, excitement filled the air.
It had been years since they’d seen a prophet in person. However, Latter-day Saints in these areas have been faithful for generations. Their conviction to their beliefs has sustained them through both the trials and triumphs of life. We share the stories of some of these people and the impact the visit from President Russell M. Nelson had on them.
