HIGHLAND —Two motorcyclists were hit by a four-door sedan pulling out onto North County Boulevard this morning, authorities say.
The collision occurred at North County Boulevard and Country Club Drive around 11:30 a.m., Lone Peak police officer Dave Ventrano said.
Ventrano said that the motorcyclists sustained critical injuries, and one was transported by medical helicopter to the hospital. The other motorcyclist, he confirmed, was initially transported by ground and then flown to the hospital.
The motorcyclists were both men in their early 30s, and the driver was a man in his early 20s, Ventrano stated.
Ventrano also confirmed that the driver stayed on scene and was cooperative.
