SALT LAKE CITY — On Monday, the Jazz were back in town. Well, at least some of them were.

This week marked the beginning of an open gym period as teams begin preparing for training camp, which is set to begin later this month. Royce O'Neale and Dante Exum both posted stories on Instagram from the Jazz practice facility highlighting the new Jazz mountain practice jerseys.

New jerseys, new gear and now headbands are allowed, too.

The season is inching closer.'s Ryan Miller and Sean Walker have returned after a brief hiatus to discuss Joe Ingles leading Australia past Rudy Gobert and France in the FIBA World Cup, what Donovan Mitchell is doing to stand out for the United States, and where the Jazz's new "Classic" uniforms rank among the myriad of jerseys in franchise history.

All that and more on this week's Jazz Shorts.
