LOGAN — A Logan man is accused of engaging in a sexual relationship with a teen girl which included sending lingerie and a sex toy to her house, according to charging documents.

Rajan Phillip Hennick, 33, was charged Monday in 1st District Court with enticing a minor, a second-degree felony; unlawful sexual conduct, a third-degree felony; unlawful sexual conduct, a class A misdemeanor; and dealing in harmful materials to a minor, a third-degree felony.

According to charging documents, in July, the girl’s mother opened a package that was sent by Hennick and addressed to her daughter and discovered lingerie and a sex toy inside, according to a probable cause affidavit filed at the Cache County Jail.

When she went through her daughter’s phone, she found messages talking about unlawful sexual conduct that allegedly happened between Hennick and her daughter in a movie theater in June, the charges state. Police later discovered Hennick had also given the girl a second cell phone that her parents did not know about.

Later, a detective used the girl’s phone to message Hennick, posing as the girl.

“In the messages, Rajan said he did not regret what had happened at the movie. Rajan said he would want to do again,” the report states.

When the officer, posing as the girl, asked to meet up again with Hennick, he was arrested shortly after arriving at the designated meeting place.
