MAHWAH, NJ, October 20, 2008 - Les Olson Company recently competed in the Sharp Information and Imaging Company of America (SIICA) Master Technician Competition at Walt Disney World in Florida. With more than 3,000 technicians representing approximately 425 dealerships from all 50 states, the Sharp Master Technician Competition pitted technicians against each other in a series of competitions that tested their knowledge and understanding of Sharp document imaging solutions. With a strong showing, Les Olson Company had a total of 26 technicians place in the top 150 participants.

"The goal of our Master Technician Competition is to advance the training and education of our technicians while adding an element of fun to it," said Ed McLaughlin, President, Sharp Information and Imaging Company of America. The Master Technician Competition confirms that our dealers and technicians share our enthusiasm from superior customer support and are providing the most comprehensive combination of sales and service available."

The Master Technician Competition tested technicians on knowledge of a number of topics, including networking, printing and Sharp OSA™ technology. Each technician from Les Olson Company was asked to demonstrate an advanced working knowledge of Sharp document solutions, both in written form as well as hands-on experience. The following Les Olson Company technicians achieved the highest status levels during the competition:

Each level represents an advanced stage of expertise, with only 150 technicians nationwide achieving Superior Technician status, 18 technicians achieving Master Technician status and 3 technicians reaching Gold Master status.
