KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee defensive back Baylen Buchanan has a spinal condition that makes his status for this season uncertain. Buchanan started all 12 games for Tennessee last year but hasn't been participating in preseason practice. Tennessee coach Jeremy Pruitt says that Buchanan is being held out because "basically we've discovered that he has kind of a narrowing of the spine."

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — A year ago, Arkansas finished 2-10. It was the worst winning percentage in program history and the first time since 1952 that Arkansas had failed to win at least three games. Coach Chad Morris heads into his second year of overhauling the team with question marks at a lot of positions. He is also leaning on more than 70 first- and second-year players, hoping youth is the key to a turnaround. Arkansas opens the season at home Aug. 31 against Portland State.

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma State University and the University of Arkansas have added two football games to a previously announced two-game, home and home series. The Cowboys and Razorbacks on Tuesday announced the two schools will play nonconference games in Stillwater in September 2032 and in Fayetteville in September 2033. OSU of the Big 12 and Arkansas of the SEC had previously announced games in 2024 in Stillwater and 2027 in Fayetteville.
