NEW MEADOWS, Idaho (AP) — Idaho officials say one lane is open to traffic on a section of Highway 95 that had been closed because of a large mudslide.
KBOI reports the Idaho State Police announced late Saturday that the open area is south of White Bird to New Meadows.
The Idaho Transportation Department on social media said crews would be working until both lanes are open. The agency says a pilot car will lead traffic through the one lane.
A large mudslide in the New Meadows and Grangeville area caused the department to close that section of Highway 95 on Saturday morning.
