(KSL News) A driver trying to escape police ended up crashing in South Salt Lake.
The incident started when a car sped past an officer near 300 East and 2700 South.
He tried to pull over the car, but the driver sped off, eventually hitting a curb, slamming the car into a tree and landing in a parking lot.
Four people got out and started running, but officers were able to track them down. Three of them are juveniles, but the driver is an adult. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and evading police.
