PARLEYS CANYON — Police have identified a man who died in a crash Wednesday in Parleys Canyon.

Draper resident Robert Lowell Breitling, 90, died in the crash, Unified police said on Twitter on Thursday.

The crash took place about 4 p.m. Wednesday on eastbound I-80 near Mt. Aire, Unified police said. Breitling was driving a pickup truck alone when his car went off the road and rolled, landing in a yard, police said. No one else was injured, according to police.

Police speculated Wednesday that the man may have suffered a medical issue prior to the crash, but the cause of his death remained unclear as of Thursday.

No other information about the crash was released on Thursday.
