BRIGHAM CITY — A 29-year-old woman died in a rollover crash in Brigham City Monday, authorities said.

Sammi Jo Revilla-Fernandez, of Brigham City, died from injuries suffered in the crash, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

UHP officials first reported the crash about noon Monday. A car was driving west on 1100 South near Brigham City when it crossed over an off-ramp and went airborne, according to UHP Sgt. Nick Street.

The vehicle landed upside down, Street said. Revilla-Fernandez died in the crash and a second person was taken to Brigham City Community Hospital by ambulance, he said. Details about that second person's injuries were not given.

Street did not immediately release further details about the crash.
