LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Maximum Security's co-owner is considering filing an appeal of his horse's disqualification from the Kentucky Derby. Gary West calls the decision "egregious." Race stewards overturned Maximum Security's 1¾-length victory after determining that he impeded the path of several other horses.

DALLAS (AP) — In the only NHL game today, the St. Louis Blues head into Game 6 in Dallas hoping to avoid elimination. The Stars took a 3-2 lead in their second-round series by beating the Blues in St. Louis Friday night.

UNDATED (AP) — There are two Game 4s today in the NBA playoffs. The Toronto Raptors visit Philadelphia this afternoon down two games to one and hoping to avoid losing three straight games for the first time since November. Tonight the Nuggets and the Trail Blazers will be back on the court in Portland after tying an NBA record by playing four overtimes Friday night. Portland won that game 140-137 to take a 2-1 series lead.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Brewers and the Mets are back in action this afternoon, just hours after completing the longest game in Miller Park history. Milwaukee outlasted the Mets 4-3 in 18 innings. Jason Vargas is scheduled to start for the Mets, who are looking to avoid being swept in the three-game series by the Brewers, who will start Zach Davies.

NEW YORK (AP) — Minnesota right-hander Michael Pineda makes his first start at Yankee Stadium since an elbow injury in 2017 brought his time with New York to a close. Pineda returned to the mound this season with the Twins after having Tommy John surgery and missing all of 2018. He'll face Yankees righty Domingo German, who has walked only two in his last three starts.
