EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Justin Herbert completed 17 of 32 passes for 219 yards and two touchdowns for the Mighty Oregon side in the Ducks' annual spring game on Saturday. His projected backup this season, Tyler Shough, completed 18 of 31 passes for 178 yards and a score for the Fighting Ducks. Mighty Oregon prevailed in the end 20-13.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State quarterback Jake Luton returns for his sixth season of eligibility and he relishes the competition at his position. The Beavers held their annual spring game on Saturday at Reser Stadium with the job at QB still up for grabs. Also in the mix is sophomore Tristan Gebbia, a transfer from Nebraska who was the Beavers' scout team quarterback last season.

NEW YORK (AP) — Arizona coach Sean Miller and LSU coach Will Wade will not be required to testify in next week's federal basketball corruption trial. U.S. District Court judge Edgardo Ramos ruled Miller and Wade were not relevant to the bribery trial that starts Monday. The two coaches had been subpoenaed in the trial of aspiring agent Christian Dawkins and former amateur coach Merl Code.
