THE FRONT DOOR — It’s that time of year: time to get your Girl Scout Cookies order in!

While some have already ordered a few boxes (I ordered some Trefoils and Thin Mints myself), others will have friendly Girl Scouts ring their doorbell to get orders in.

And some of these Girl Scouts know that to get more orders, you gotta be persuasive when presenting to the potential customer. Buying Girl Scout Cookies helps girls work toward achieving their young goals, so it seemingly should sell itself. But if in case a potential customer is still a bit undecided, what should a Girl Scout say at the door?

You guessed it: sing a catchy jingle while dancing.

In this video, a Girl Scout rings the doorbell and seemingly can’t wait to talk to the homeowner. She notices the doorbell camera and realizes the owner might be watching her. The girl knows that this is her moment to shine for the camera (and convince the homeowner to come to the door, of course).

The girl looks at the camera and sings:

“Girl Scout Cookies. Come and get your cookies! Girl Scout Cookies. Come and get your cookies!”

Just went it seemed like the girl was going to walk away, the girl spins and repeats the lines, but ends it by striking a pose and saying “GIRLS SCOUT!”

Now that was a mic drop moment!

If the homeowner didn’t order at least five boxes after that performance, I’d be disappointed.

To all the Girl Scouts and parents out there helping their daughters: thank you for providing us with cookies. And to the girl in the video: keep on selling cookies, singing and striking a pose!
