SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Mitt Romney is set to hold his first town hall as a sitting senator for Utah as a government shutdown continues.
The event is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday in Farmington, at the Davis County Administration Building, 61 S. Main Street. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Romney also appeared in Ogden last week to meet with county commissioners about the impact of the shutdown on a community that's home to about 5,000 federal workers.
The Republican and 2012 GOP presidential nominee has been critical of President Donald Trump, but during that appearance he backed his push for a border wall that's led to the shutdown while chiding Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
