CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) — Manny Diaz has agreed to a 5-year deal to replace Mark Richt as Miami's football coach. Richt retired earlier Sunday, and Diaz accepted the job hours later _ completing a most whirlwind day for the Hurricanes. Diaz was leaving Miami to become coach at Temple.

NEW YORK (AP) — Muffet McGraw earned a milestone win against the school where she got her coaching start. McGraw became the fourth-fastest coach to reach 900 victories on Sunday when No. 2 Notre Dame beat Lehigh 95-68.

UNDATED (AP) — It will be Alabama vs. Clemson, Part IV. The top-ranked Crimson Tide and No. 2 Tigers both had double-digit victories in their semifinal games Saturday and will meet in the College Football Playoff for the fourth consecutive year. This will be their third championship game matchup. The winner on Jan. 7 in Santa Clara, California, will become the first 15-0 FBS champion.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher has dozens of players on his roster without a bowl victory. Most of them, actually. Fisher has a chance in his first season with the Aggies to show many of them what it's like to end the year celebrating on the field with a trophy. No. 21 Texas A&M will try to end a three-game bowl losing streak when it plays North Carolina State in the Gator Bowl on Monday night.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — A strange season filled with uplifting victories and mystifying defeats finally draws to a close for Virginia Tech in the Military Bowl. After using a late surge to earn a bowl bid for the 26th year in a row, the Hokies must beat Cincinnati to avoid their first losing season since 1992. The Bearcats are seeking the third 11-win season in the 131-year history of the program and their first bowl victory since 2012.

EL PASO, Texas (AP) — Even without Bryce Love, Stanford plans to stick with the running game in the Sun Bowl against Pittsburgh. Because the Panthers are powered by the first pair of 1,000-yard rushers in school history, coach Pat Narduzzi figures Monday's meeting will be something of an oddity in today's college game. Love is the second lead Stanford back in three years to skip the Sun Bowl to focus on the NFL draft. Christian McCaffrey sat out the Cardinal's 25-23 win over North Carolina in 2016.

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Marcquise Reed scored 26 points and Clemson won its fourth straight game with an 84-67 victory over Lipscomb on Sunday. The Tigers closed out non-conference play at 10-3 and open the ACC on Saturday at top-ranked Duke. Reed will have play as he has since returning from an knee injury earlier this month. It was his second consecutive game reaching 20 points or more since missing three games due to a knee sprain.

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — After a sluggish start following a nine-day holiday break, No. 9 N.C. State found a spark on defense against Davidson to remain undefeated. Aislinn Konig scored 17 points for the Wolfpack, which held Davidson to 1-for-13 from the field over a nine-minute stretch of the third quarter in a 75-45 win at Reynolds Coliseum. DD Rogers energized N.C. State (13-0) with a pair of blocked shots in the third quarter, when the Wolfpack turned a 30-27 deficit into a 19-point lead.
