SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Jhivvan Jackson scored a career-best 32 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as UTSA held on to edge Division II Southeastern Oklahoma State 70-67 on Saturday afternoon.

The Roadrunners (6-7) trailed by two with 1:08 to play when Keaton Wallace sank a 3-pointer to give them the lead for good, 65-64. They were holding on by three when Southeastern Oklahoma State's Kellen Manek missed a long-range attempt at the buzzer, preserving the final score.

Wallace and Nick Allen added 12 points apiece for UTSA. Allen had eight rebounds.

Manek led the Savage Storm with 14 points.

The Roadrunners led early but a flurry of 3-pointers from Manek, Kayo Goncalves, Todd Dawkins and Jett Jobe late in the first half helped the Savage Storm move ahead 33-30 with 2:08 to go and they led 35-34 at the break.

UTSA trailed through most of the second half and were down 60-51 with 6:42 to play.
