HOLLADAY — A Holladay house fire caused extensive smoke damage Friday.
About 2 p.m., crews were called to the fire at 3915 S. Feramorz Dr. About 25 firefighters responded to the scene and extinguished the blaze within a half hour, Unified fire spokesman Ryan Love said.
The home was vacant at the time, he said. No injuries were reported.
"There is smoke damage throughout the whole house and then fire damage in the basement floor," Love said. He did not have a damage estimate.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, he said.
