CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Mar. delivery was up 3.40 cents at $5.13 a bushel; Mar. corn rose 1.80 cents at $3.7640 a bushel; Mar. oats fell 2.60 cents at $2.7260 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans advanced 11.20 cents at 8.8240 a bushel.
Beef and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Dec.live cattle rose 1.33 cents at $1.2405 a pound; Jan. feeder cattle was up .58 cent at $1.4940 a pound; Feb. lean hogs gained .23 cent at .6058 a pound.
