NEW YORK (AP) — It was a busy week for coach Kelly Graves and the Oregon Ducks. A win over previously unbeaten Mississippi State started off the fourth-ranked Ducks' week. Graves then sat out Oregon's next two games to serve a suspension for NCAA violations. While Graves sat out the wins over Air Force and UC Irvine, his team had no problem continuing to win, thanks in no small part to Sabrina Ionescu. The junior guard had back-to-back triple-doubles _ setting the NCAA record for men and women in the process.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Jerry Jeudy's ambitions grew with every college football camp he attended, every highly rated defensive back he beat head to head. His recruiting stock rose, and so did his goals. Now, he's Alabama's latest star wide receiver and a Biletnikoff Award winner heading into the College Football Playoffs.

UNDATED (AP) — Police say two LSU football players were trying to sell an electronic item when one player fatally shot an 18-year-old man trying to rob them. A statement by Baton Rouge Police does not identify the football players. But a person familiar with the investigation tells The Associated Press the players are running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire and linebacker Jared Small. The man killed was not an LSU student and died at the scene.

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma interim defensive coordinator Ruffin McNeill's unit couldn't slow some of the nation's best offenses during Big 12 play. His toughest challenge yet will come in the national semifinal against Alabama on Saturday. Led by Heisman Trophy runner-up Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback, the Crimson Tide ranks second nationally in points per game and seventh in yards per game. The Sooners' defense draws hope from a solid performance in the Big 12 title game win against Texas.
