COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) — Two northern Idaho residents have been indicted by a grand jury and face charges that they embezzled $800,000 from an amusement park.
Forty-four-year-old Melissa K. Foeller and 43-year-old Christopher A. Wyatt each face five counts of grand theft following the indictments filed Wednesday in 1st District Court.
Foeller worked as an accounting manager at Silverwood Theme Park in Athol. Wyatt was Silverwood's former chief financial officer.
Foeller was being held in the Kootenai County Jail on Saturday on $50,000 bond. Authorities say Wyatt posted bail.
Foeller's court-appointed attorney with the Kootenai County Public Defender's Office couldn't be reached on Saturday.
It's not clear from online records if Wyatt has an attorney.
