NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) — Kevon Harris scored 24 points with 10 rebounds, five assists and three steals and Stephen F. Austin beat NCCAA-member Arlington Baptist 97-47 on Friday night.
Harris made five 3-pointers, leading six players in double-digit scoring. Shannon Bogues scored 16 and distributed nine assists, while Mitchell Seraille scored 13. Davonte Fitzgerald and Nathan Bain had 11 points each and Karl Nicholas 10.
The Lumberjacks (7-4) peeled out to an 11-3 lead as Harris made two 3-pointers and extended the lead to 27-8 with a 3-pointer from Bain. Stephen F. Austin led 49-20 at halftime and finished shooting 41 of 63 (65 percent) including 10 of 20 from distance. SFA, however, was just 5 of 11 from the line. The Lumberjacks had a 39-23 rebounding advantage, collected eight steals and blocked five shots.
Kennedy Jones and Jordan Williams scored 12 apiece for Arlington Baptist.
