A White House aide is repeating a demand of $5 billion for President Donald Trump's border wall with Mexico. Appearing on CBS' "Face the Nation," White House senior adviser Stephen Miller said the administration will do whatever is necessary to build the wall to stop what he called "this ongoing crisis of immigration." Democratic lawmakers have stood firm against building a wall.
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani is ruling out the possibility that the president will sit down for an interview with the special counsel investigating Russia election interference. He made the comments to "Fox News Sunday." The White House has sent written answers in response to the special counsel's questions about possible collusion, but resisted answering questions on possible obstruction of justice.

KATOWICE, Poland (AP) — Top greenhouse gas producers China and the United States have joined with nearly 200 other nations at the U.N. climate talks in an agreement that sets universal, transparent rules on how countries can emissions and curb global warming. The deal reached Saturday night puts the 2015 Paris climate accord into action. But negotiators delayed decisions on some key issues until next year in an effort to get a deal on them, frustrating environmentalists who were urging more ambitious climate goals.
PARIS (AP) — People have filled a square in the French city of Strasbourg to show respect and sympathy for the victims of last week's shooting attack near a famous Christmas market as the death toll rose to five. Poland's state news agency PAP says a Pole who died in a Strasbourg hospital Sunday was one of the dozen people wounded in the attack Tuesday evening.
