HOUSTON (AP) — Ian DuBose scored 18 points with five assists and Houston Baptist beat Arlington Baptist 107-70 on Friday night.
Jalon Gates added 13 points, Benjamin Uloko had 12 points and nine rebounds and Jackson Stent scored 12 points. Braxton Bonds added 10 for the Huskies (3-5), who shot 51 percent overall and 41 percent (7 of 17) from 3-point range while making 20 of 26 free throws.
Houston Baptist snapped a three-game losing streak while reaching 100 points for the first time this season.
Kennedy Jones led the Patriots from the National Christian College Athletic Association with 15 points. Arlington Baptist shot 53 percent and 40 percent from the arc but was outrebounded 48-23, including 21-3 on the offensive glass.
Bose scored 11 points in the first half when the Huskies led by 12 before outscoring the Patriots 60-35 in the second half.
The Huskies outscored the Patriots 31-6 off turnovers.
