HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — Brendan Barry made eight 3-pointers and scored a career-high 31 points to lead Dartmouth to a 78-68 victory over Boston University on Thursday night for its first three-game winning streak in two years.
Barry matched a career-best with eight 3s, and is the first player to put up 30 points in Leede Areana since Miles Wright scored 39 in 2015. Chris Knight had 20 points and Ian Sistare added 10 for Dartmouth (7-5). The trio made 24 of the Big Green's 30 field goals.
Max Mahoney scored 22 points on 10-of-14 shooting to lead BU (6-5). Javante McCoy chipped in with 16 points.
McCoy made a 3-pointer and Mahoney a layup to pull the Terriers to 41-36 with 16 minutes left. Barry made three 3s during a 13-7 spurt and Dartmouth led 54-43 with 12 minutes to go. BU cut the deficit to 59-52 but didn't get closer.
