SALT LAKE CITY — Week 12 of the NFL football season is in the books and one local broke a record.
Williams came up big for the New Orleans Saints this week on Thanksgiving Day. In the first quarter, the Atlanta Falcons were in the red zone and threatening to score. But Williams burst through the line and swatted the ball out of Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan’s hands. It counted as both a forced fumble and a sack, and the Saints were able to recover the ball. According to Next Gen Stats, it broke a record as the fastest sack ever recorded as it came just 1.54 seconds after the snap. Williams also had five tackles in the Saints win.
Wagner was a nightmare for the Carolina Panthers, as the Seattle Seahawk was all over the field, totaling 11 tackles; one of those tackles was for a loss. He also forced a fumble — one of five fumbles the Panthers had.
Warner continues to be a force for the San Francisco 49ers linebacking corps in his rookie season. Although the 49ers got run over by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Warner was one of only a few bright spots for the struggling 49ers. He finished the game with seven total tackles and managed to breakup a pass.
Some other locals were also able to step up and make plays for their teams:
Kyle Van Noy (New England Patriots) - Van Noy had five total tackles and a pass breakup in the Patriots' win over the New York Jets.
Michael Davis (Los Angeles Chargers) - Davis had four total tackles in a blowout win over the Arizona Cardinals.

DeVontae Booker (Denver Broncos) - Booker caught one pass for 6 yards in a narrow win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Star Lotulelei (Buffalo Bills)- Lotulelei had one tackle for loss in the Bills win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Tim Patrick (Denver Broncos) - Patrick had a nice play on special teams when a punt was bouncing into the end zone. He dove and hit the ball out-of-bounds at the 3-yard line, forcing the Pittsburgh Steelers into poor field position.
Nevin Lawson (Detroit Lions) - Lawson totaled four tackles on a Thanksgiving Day loss to the Chicago Bears
Kyler Fackrell (Green Bay Packers) - Fackrell had two total tackles in a loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
