SALT LAKE CITY — The rivalry week edition of KSL College Football Pick'em sure did not disappoint. Three of the five games were upsets, and the two others came down to the wire and easily could have gone the other way.

In the biggest game of the week, BYU looked like it was well on its way to defeating rival Utah for the first time in eight tries. The Cougars led 20-0 at the half and 27-7 late in the third quarter. Utah was finally able to generate some momentum, scoring 28-straight points over the final 15:40 to capture an 8-point win and the eighth straight in the rivalry.

Utah State traveled north to take on Boise State, with the winner representing the Mountain Division in the Mountain West Conference Championship game. The Aggies hit first on a 9-yard pass from Jordan Love to Jalen Greene, but quickly fell behind by 10 in the second quarter. The Aggies clawed their way back, getting as close as 26-24 late in the fourth quarter before the Broncos iced the game on a 1-yard touchdown run with only four seconds remaining.

Oklahoma narrowly escaped with a 59-56 win over West Virginia in a game that featured 115 points and nearly 1,400 total yards of offense. Washington won the Apple Cup over Washington State in a blizzard, and Ohio State won its seventh straight over rival Michigan.

Utah fans took two out of the top three spots in the weekly leaderboard. Tony H finished first with 218 points, with Jake Firth finishing third with 208. Alabama fan Kodi Davis placed second with 216 points. The winners will get $100, $75 and $50 Visa gift cards, respectively, courtesy of the Karl Malone Auto Group.

The Utes were the lone in-state team to win in Week 13, and as such, they took the top fan base with an average score of 19.9 points. Utah State placed second with 18.0, and BYU took third with 14.9 points. For the season, Utah State still holds a slight edge at 20.6 to Utah's 20.4. BYU is third with an 19.5 average score.
