West Valley motel robbed at gunpoint

WEST VALLEY CITY — Police are looking for the individual who robbed a West Valley City motel at gunpoint early Monday.

The robber entered the La Quinta Inn at 3540 S. 2200 West around 1 a.m., according to West Valley Police Lt. Todd Gray. They were wearing a skeleton mask, red shirt and white pants.

The robber showed a gun and took an undisclosed amount of money from the clerk, then fled east on foot.

Police searched the area for the robber but with no success.
