LOGAN, Utah -- Utah State's men's basketball team will hold its annual Blue-White scrimmage on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m.in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and admission is free.
At 5:30 p.m., Macey's will hold a student pre-season party at the south student entrance of the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum, where there will be a donut-eating contest, free hot chocolate, basketball shooting competitions and more.
During the scrimmage, there will be free giveaways, face painting, grocery giveaways, a mini-ball toss, sub-sandwich prizes and shooting contests for gift certificates to Macey's.
Once the scrimmage begins, USU head coach Stew Morrill will run his team through two 10-minute sessions. At the conclusion of the scrimmage players will be available for autographs.
Utah State, which is picked to finish second in the WAC's pre-season polls, returns three starters and six letter winners from last year's 24-11 team that won a share of the Western Athletic Conference regular season championship with a 12-4 league mark and advanced to its ninth-straight post-season as it played at Illinois State in the first round of the MasterCard National Invitation Tournament.
