KANAB, Kane County — The body of a man who was last seen Wednesday was located Monday afternoon, authorities said.

The body of Devun Hansen, 19, was found "in the Kanab, Utah area," according to a prepared statement from the Kane County Sheriff's Office. Few details were released, but authorities said foul play is not suspected.

The sheriff's office began asking for the public’s help in locating Hansen on Friday. A couple of search parties were organized to help locate him over the weekend and a Facebook page was set up by his family to help find Hansen.

Amy Hutto, Hansen's mother, pleaded for Kanab residents to check around their neighborhoods or properties for any possible clues.

"He is not lost in the mountains, he's not lost on a hike. He's missing," Hutto said in a video posted on the page.

In the statement released Monday evening, authorities thanked volunteers for their efforts in searching for Hansen. It also asked for privacy for Hansen's family members "as they mourn their loss."
