Nielsen Holdings PLC, down $7.46 to $22.11
The media and marketing information company reported earnings that fell short of analysts' estimates and said its CEO would leave by the end of the year.
Supervalu Inc., up $12.72 to $32.17
The grocery store operator agreed to be acquired by United Natural Foods for $1.3 billion.
Qualcomm Inc., up $4.16 to $63.58
The chipmaker reported earnings that beat analysts' expectations and said it would abandon a bid to acquire NXP.
Mattel Inc., down 68 cents to $15.61
The maker of Barbie and Hot Wheels reported a loss that was larger than analysts were expecting and said it would eliminate more than 2,200 jobs.
Ford Motor Co., down 63 cents to $9.89
The company reported a sharp drop in profits and said it would undertake a restructuring that will cost $11 billion over the next three to five years.
Arconic Inc., up $2.12 to $21.38
The Wall Street Journal reported that the company is considering takeover approaches from at least two private-equity groups.
D.R. Horton Inc., up $4.30 to $43.84
The homebuilder reported earnings and revenue that easily beat forecasts and announced a $400 million share repurchase program.
