REGINA, Saskatchewan (AP) — Sam Steel scored the winner in the third period, Max Paddock made 44 saves and the host Regina Pats beat the Hamilton Bulldogs 4-2 on Friday night in the Memorial Cup semifinal.
Regina will face the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League champion Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Sunday for the Canadian major junior title.
Cameron Hebig, Austin Pratt and Jake Leschyshyn, into an empty net, also scored for the Pats. Nicolas Mattinen and Will Bitten scored for the Ontario Hockey League champion Bulldogs.
Acadie-Bathurst beat Regina 8-6 on Sunday in round-robin play.
