CHARLESTON, Ill. (AP) — Montell Goodwin scored 15 points on five 3-pointers, Muusa Dama had 14 on 7-for-7 shooting and Eastern Illinois coasted to a 73-38 win over NAIA St. Francis, Illinois, on Thursday.

The Panthers (4-7) led 36-25 at the half but limited the Saints to 13 points in the second half.

Eastern Illinois shot 56 percent for the game (29 of 52) and with Dama grabbing 10 rebounds had a 42-26 advantage on the boards. Goodwin had five assists and the Panthers had helpers on 21 of 29 baskets.

The Panthers closed the first half with a 16-7 run and put it away with an 18-2 run to lead 56-30 before the midway point of the second half.

Antonio Hughes had 11 points and Iain Morison 10 for the Saints, who shot 10 of 43 inside the arc and 4 of 13 outside (31 percent)
