LAKEWOOD, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a school bus driver was drunk with about 20 students aboard his vehicle when he was involved in a road rage incident.
Lakewood police say 54-year-old Angel Colon showed signs of intoxication when they responded to the scene Wednesday morning. He's charged with drunken driving and child endangerment.
It wasn't known Thursday if Colon has retained an attorney who could comment on the accusations.
Colon works for a Lakewood-based bus service and was carrying students who attend a private school. The bus company declined comment on the matter and wouldn't say if Colon was still employed by the firm.
Details on the road rage incident were not disclosed.
