MONROE, La. (AP) — Travis Munnings had a perfect shooting night and scored 17 points and Michael Ertel added 14 and Louisiana Monroe beat Division III Millsaps College 97-44 on Monday night.
Munnings made all seven of his field-goal attempts and all three free-throw attempts. Sam McDaniel added 13 points and missed only one of his six shots and Roderick Taylor was 4-of-5 shooting for 10 points.
The Warhawks broke it open with a 20-0 run for a 32-9 lead with McDaniel and Taylor scoring 12 of the points. Louisiana Monroe (5-5) shot 39 of 67 from the field (58 percent) and had a 41-25 rebounding advantage.
Louisiana Monroe led 59-20 at halftime.
Reserves Matt Owens and She'Chem Grant led the Majors with eight points apiece. Millsaps' reserves outscored its starters 26-18 and made 11 of the team's 16 field goals.
