NEW YORK (AP) — Blake Francis scored 19 points, got seven steals and dished out five assists Sunday to help propel Wagner to its sixth-straight win with a 75-41 victory over Division II program Mercy College.

JoJo Cooper added 18 points and Elijah Davis and Jamar Brown had 10 apiece for Wagner (7-1), which controlled the glass 52-39 and forced 19 turnovers. Devin Liggeons grabbed 10 of those 52 rebounds.

Wagner took control with a 19-2 run stretching across both sides of the break to make it 43-20 with under 14 minutes left in the game. Chase Freeman kicked off the breakaway run with a 3-point play.

Mercy scored the game's first four points and still clung to the lead midway through the opening half before Wagner took it away with a layup from Francis that made it 11-10 with under nine minutes to go until the break.

Dequawne Richards led Mercy with 12 points and six rebounds.
