LAS VEGAS (AP) — Shakur Juiston scored 19 points with seven rebounds and three steals as UNLV got off to a slow start before running past Oral Roberts 92-66 on Tuesday night to halt a two-game losing skid.

The Rebels (7-2) won six straight to start the season before losing in overtime to both Northern Iowa and Arizona.

Juiston had 17 points in the first half. Brandon McCoy totaled 17 points with Jovan Mooring adding 15. Jordan Johnson chipped in seven with 11 assists.

UNLV trailed early, but Juiston hit a jumper and followed with a layup to start a 25-7 run that led to a 41-28 halftime advantage. The Golden Eagles never challenged in the second half.

The Rebels shot 54 percent (32-59) while limiting ORU to 26-of-74 (35 percent) shooting. The Rebels also hit 9 of 17 from deep. ORU made just 4 of 14 attempts.

Javan White led ORU (2-8) with 24 points and 12 rebounds for his third straight double-double.
