SOUTH SALT LAKE — Two Salt Lake County Jail corrections officers were injured in a crash near the jail while driving to work Monday.

A car with two officers was making a left turn near 3300 South and 900 West when it was hit by an oncoming vehicle, said South Salt Lake police detective Gary Keller.

One of the officers was transported to a local hospital in fair condition, Keller said.

The investigation into who was at fault for the crash was ongoing Monday afternoon.

Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
