Stetson beats NAIA Edward Waters 85-52

DELAND, Fla. (AP) — Luke Doyle scored 13, Divine Myles had 12 points, five rebounds and six assists, and Stetson beat NAIA member Edward Waters 85-52 on Friday night.

B.J. Glasford added 11 points and Larry Dennis scored 10 for the Hatters (6-4).

Charles-Eddie Smith scored 11 and Rasaad Morgan added 10 points for the Tigers.

Stetson pulled away with 10 straight points after Edward Waters scored the opening basket. The Hatters led 40-20 at halftime and kept the margin at least 17 in the second half.

The Hatters made 35 of 69 (50.7 percent) from the field, including 10 of 25 (40 percent) from 3-point range, and converted 22 Tigers turnovers into 36 points.

Angel Rivera had 10 assists to go with two points for Stetson.
