(KSL News) Hundreds of people are lining up at Salt Lake's Salvation Army for help putting presents under the Christmas tree.

Salvation officials say 275 people a day are going there to sign up for Sub for Santa, Toys for Tots or Angel tree this year.

That's slightly higher than last year when 250 a day applied.

The deadline to apply for holiday presents is Nov. 8.
