(KSL News) -- Automaker Nissan is working on a new safety feature to help prevent wrecks. They call it the "Magic Bumper."
Embedded sensors in the front bumper monitor the distance between your car and the vehicle in front of you. When other cars get too close for comfort, the gas pedal automatically rises and the brakes kick in.
Nissan hopes the Magic Bumper cuts down on wrecks caused by inattention, drowsiness, and carelessness.
