MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — Authorities say a woman has died in a residential fire in Moscow, Idaho.

Moscow city officials say police officers and firefighters responded to the blaze on the 1000 block of Camas Street on Tuesday and found heavy smoke coming from the home.

Officials say firefighters found an unresponsive woman with suspected smoke inhalation inside the residence on a living room couch.

She was taken to a local hospital where she died, officials said.

The fire is under investigation.

The woman's name was not released.
