SALT LAKE CITY — It's been a hot, fiery summer for much of the state, and this week was no different, particularly for those in the Alpine area.
A fire broke out Saturday afternoon on an Alpine mountainside, just weeks after a previous fire in the area burned nearly 100 acres. Saturday's "Water Tower Fire" briefly displaced about 120 people and burned around 400 acres.
KSL.com readers sent in photos of the fire in Alpine and other brush fires throughout the state. We also received several stunning photos of unique weather and wildlife as Utahns enjoyed the world around them.
