ALPINE — Emergency crews were working to extinguish a fire that was burning uphill on a mountain east of Alpine Saturday night.

The blaze was burning grass and brushes and was estimated to be about 50 acres as of late Saturday night., according to Utah Fire Info.

The fire was human caused and is under investigation, said Kathy Jo Pollock from the U.S. Forest Services.
